Chinese Ambassador-Designate H.E. Mr. Lei Kezhong Arrived in Lesotho

On 1 August 2019, H.E. Mr. Lei Kezhong, the Ambassador-Designate of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Lesotho arrived in Lesotho. Ms. Baholo Makolana, the Deputy Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of Lesotho and representatives of the Chinese Embassy and the Chinese Community in Lesotho greeted H.E. Mr. Lei at the Moshoeshoe I airport, Maseru.

Ms. Makolana extended warm welcome on behalf of the Lesotho Government to H.E. Ambassador Lei. H.E. Ambassador Lei said he was very honored to assume the duty of the Chinese Ambassador to Lesotho, and wished to work closely with all sides to promote the bilateral relations between the two countries onto a new height.

H.E. Mr. Lei is the 11th Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Lesotho. He has assumed the posts of Counselor of the Department of European Affairs of the Foreign Ministry of China, Deputy Director-General and Inspector of the Policy Research Bureau of the Foreign Affairs Office of the CPC Central Committee, and Consul-General of China in Perth.
