Chinese Ambassador Sun Xianghua Attended Symposium on China Aid Human Resources Development Cooperation

On 30 November 2017, the Chinese Ambassador H. E. Dr. Sun Xianghua attended the Symposium on the China aid Human Resources Development Cooperation. Hon. Tlohelang Aumane, the Minister of Development Planning and the Ministry's Principal Secretary Mr. Khomooatsana Tau, over 200 trainees and participants of the human resources projects, mainly from the ministries, private sectors, media , etc., were also present at the event.

       Ambassador Sun indicated in his remarks that the governments of China and Lesotho attach great importance to the Human resources cooperation, and had achieved abundant fruits in this regard. The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held last month will usher the China-Lesotho relationships into a new era. China will contribute more assistance to Lesotho's education and human resources training programs, pushing forward the bilateral cooperation to attain greater achievements.

       Hon. Aumane extended appreciations to China for providing the education and training. He indicated that the programs had played a significant role in social-economic development of Lesotho. The Hon. encouraged the trainees to seize the valuable opportunities in the new era of China-Lesotho cooperation, make full use of what they learn from China and make contributions to the development of Lesotho as well as the development of the China-Lesotho friendship.

       The representatives of the trainees made presentations introducing on their experiences in China, the contents and their achievements of training courses, the friendship between them and the Chinese and the benefits from the trainings to their careers. They also spoke highly of the China-aid training projects as practical and effective, praised China for sincerely helping the Basotho people, and hoped that they could make full use of the skills learned from China and promote the friendly exchange between China and Lesotho.
