| Mr. Gao Deyi, born in Shanghai, China, February 6, 1958. He Graduated from Shanghai Maritime University majoring in Maritime Navigation, and studied in World Maritime University in Sweden with Master Degree. Long-term engaged in academics and research of international maritime policy, management and transport economic technology. Served in the following positions: Specially-appointed technical consultation and competent person for country assessment specialist by International Maritime Organization, Chairman of International Maritime Lecturers' Association, Executive Director of Board of Global Maritime Education and Training Organization, Executive Director of China Institute of Navigation, Deputy-Director of Navigation Safety Standard Committee of Ministry of Communications of China, Distinguished Senior specialist of Shanghai Institute of Navigation, Member of International Maritime Research Committee of Maritime Safety Administration of China. Since 2005, mainly engaged in diplomatic work, served as counselor in the Chinese Mission to the EU, now the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Lesotho. Served successively in the following positions: 1976.4-1978.2 Doctor in Changzheng Farm, Chongming, Shanghai. 1978.3-1982.1 Graduated from Shanghai Maritime University majoring in Maritime Navigation. 1982.1-1993.11 Teacher, Section Chief, Assistant President at Shanghai Maritime University. 1993.11-1995.12 Master Degree in Education and Training from World Maritime University affiliated with International Maritime Organization in Sweden. 1995.12-1999.3 Assistant President at Shanghai Maritime University, Director of Shanghai Seafarer's Training Center of Ministry of Communications of China. 1999.4-2006.4 Professor, Deputy Party Secretary, Vice President at Shanghai Maritime University, Director of Shanghai Seafarer's Training Center of Ministry of Communications of China. 2006.4-2008.9 Counselor in the Chinese Mission to the EU 2008.9-now Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Lesotho. |
