Ambassador's Biography


Mr.Qiu Bohua, a Beijing Foreign Language University graduate, born in August 1953 in Jiangsu Province, PRC.

Served successively in the following positions:

1976-1980 Staff Member of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Lao People's Democratic Republic;

1980-1982 Studying English in Foreign Affairs College ;

1982-1983 Staff Member of the African Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

1983-1985 Attache,Third Secretary of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Lao People's Democratic Republic;

1985-1987 Teacher of the Lecturers Group to Hubei Province;

1987-1992 Second Secretary, First Secretary of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Zimbabwe;

1992-1993 First Secretary of the African Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

1993-1996 First Secretary, Counsellor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Lesotho;

1996-1999 Counsellor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Zimbabwe;

1999-2003 Vice-President of the Foreign Affairs College;

2003- Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Lesotho

Married with one daughter.
